A Day after Rain

The morning began with a heavy sprinkle, wetting the ground and leaving behind a sky filled with clouds. After eating some chocolate croissants and drinking some very strong espresso we decided to go for a walk.. A very long walk. Our journey lead us south through the cemetery where I warded off a man from walking face first into a spider in its web. After strolling through we found signs pointing to Hans Christian Andersen’s grave, the gentleman who wrote The Little Mermaid. So we checked out his tombstone and then proceeded out of the cemetery towards Frederiksberg where a huge park and estate reside. The rest of our day included lunch at a London Pub, duck ramps in the river, elephants in the zoo, mango mint smoothies, views of the Tycho Brache Planetarium over the lakes and finally ending it with the Sex and the City Movie on the only English channel on our tv. Now here are some pictures from the day.
